Having completed our fall evangelistic campaign (
Phase I) in Nigeria, and our campaign to conserve the harvest (
Phase II), we began our Phase III campaign for completing the Great Commission on February 1, 2026.
Many of the activities are the same in Phase III as in Phase II, such as people getting saved, baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized with fire, receiving deliverance, healing, miracles, etc., as the new believers and existing ones continue to be discipled, attend Life Transformation Groups (LTGs), and become part of the new fellowships, even as some new fellowships may continue to be established, elders appointed and set in.
However, the new focus is on discipleship, multiplication of disciples, and leadership development, (as well as possibly establishing more new fellowships as the need arises). Once we have appointed elders in these fellowships, they will serve under the oversight of our brother Henry (pictured above), who has been trained in our DTS and has years of experience in ministry.
Our Lord said in His Great Commission, which is our marching orders as soldiers of Christ:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Mat 28:18-20)
We are going, we are making disciples, we are baptizing them, we are teaching them to obey everything our Lord commanded the original disciples in the gospels, including the Great Commission, in which he commanded us to do all of the above. We are casting a vision for multiplication among the new believers, that if they do what we are doing, making disciples and teaching them to do all that Jesus commanded, then their disciples will also be making disciples and teaching them to do all that Jesus commanded.
Below you will find our updates for this Phase III campaign (all photos at link above, once we post them):

Location Updates
1. Liberty Road (Urban Location)
The work at Liberty Road remains strong and consistent, with steady attendance and continuous spiritual growth. Deliverance continues to bear fruit as individuals are being set free from various forms of spiritual oppression. Structured and systematic teachings are helping many, especially those from Catholic backgrounds, gain doctrinal clarity and stability in the faith. New souls are being added regularly, and commitment among the core disciples continues to improve. Leadership support remains stable and cooperative. LTG participation has strengthened with approximately 25% growth recorded.
Elder: David Agorye (currently functioning)
2. Bebuabong
The fellowship is stable and gradually advancing despite certain limitations. One soul recently added, and interest in the teachings continues to grow. However, literacy challenges still affect the full implementation of LTGs. Continued foundational teaching on the Holy Spirit and discipleship principles remains necessary to establish believers more firmly. LTG engagement has increased modestly, with about 12% growth recorded.
Elder: John Uluga
3. Ukwel Obudu
The work is progressing steadily through consistent foundational teaching and structured discipleship meetings. Spiritual understanding among the disciples continues to improve, and commitment is gradually strengthening. Though growth remains moderate, openness to deeper teaching is encouraging. LTG participation has grown by approximately 18%, reflecting increasing involvement in discipleship structures.
4. Ohong
Ohong remains spiritually vibrant and responsive. Water baptisms have taken place, and there is clear evidence of the work of the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues. Several deliverances have been recorded, and testimonies continue to strengthen the faith of the brethren. Leadership is stable and functioning effectively, and discipleship structures remain active and organized. LTG engagement has expanded significantly, with about 30% growth recorded.
Elders: John Akwagiobe, John Attah
5. Karu 1
There is visible spiritual growth in this center, with increasing hunger for the Word. Though progress is steady, leadership formation is still ongoing and requires further strengthening. Literacy challenges are affecting LTG structure, but the disciples remain receptive to teaching and pastoral guidance. Despite these limitations, LTG involvement has increased by about 15%.
Leadership: Elders still in view
6. Karu 2
This center is currently undergoing reorganization after the disciples were previously scattered. The immediate focus remains on regathering and stabilizing the fellowship.
7. Betukwel
The fellowship is experiencing strong spiritual activity and encouraging growth. Notable instant healings have taken place. Additional souls have joined the fellowship recently. Several testimonies of God’s intervention have greatly encouraged the brethren, and attendance continues to increase weekly. Leadership is functional and supportive. LTG participation has grown strongly with approximately 28% growth recorded.
Elder: Mr. Ogar
8. Kakum
The work in Kakum continues to advance steadily. Water baptisms have been conducted, manifestations of the Holy Spirit are evident, and deliverance remains active. Two additional souls were recently added, and discipleship structures are operating consistently. Leadership is established and providing stability for further growth. LTG engagement has grown by about 40%.
Elder: Brother Demian
9. Prison Fellowship
The prison fellowship continues to grow steadily with consistent meetings, structured teaching, and active LTG engagement. A significant spiritual breakthrough has recently taken place as more inmates are openly renouncing their past involvement with occult and dark spiritual practices.
Many of them confessed that they had previously undergone various initiations into the dark world and had received demonic markings on their bodies. Some also admitted to drinking dangerous concoctions believed to make them invulnerable to bullets, machetes, or other metal weapons.
During recent ministry sessions, sixteen additional inmates openly confessed and renounced their involvement with these dark powers, in addition to others who had previously done so. Deliverance ministry was conducted for each of them.
One notable case involved an inmate who had the unusual ability to chew razor blades. After ministering deliverance to him, he immediately went to the toilet and expelled the substances from his body, testifying afterward to his freedom.
These testimonies have deeply impacted the other inmates and strengthened the atmosphere of repentance and openness within the fellowship. As a result, discipleship engagement has increased significantly, and LTG participation in the prison fellowship has grown by approximately 45%.
Leaders: Atukanbe Anthony and Bro John (Abugieye John)
Overall Ministry Impact
Across all locations, we continue to witness encouraging evidence of the Lord’s work. Several individuals have experienced deliverance from spiritual oppression, water baptisms have taken place in few centers, and manifestations of the Holy Spirit—including speaking in tongues—have been evident in some fellowships. Many notable healings have also taken place across the various locations.
Leadership structures are gradually becoming more stable as elders and emerging leaders take increasing responsibility within the fellowships. Discipleship systems and LTG participation are expanding across most centers, helping believers grow in accountability, spiritual discipline, and personal transformation.
Overall, the work across the fields remains steady, with visible spiritual growth, increasing commitment among disciples, and strengthening leadership and discipleship structures.
Thank you for your continued support, guidance, and oversight.
Blessings,
Bro John

Dear Brother Len,
Greetings in the name of the Lord.
I am pleased to report that updates from our fellowship centres continue to be very encouraging. Across the various locations, the work is progressing well, particularly in the areas of discipleship and LTG (Life Transformation Groups). There is clear evidence that the Lord is working in the lives of many individuals as they continue to grow spiritually through consistent teaching, accountability, and prayer.
In the prison fellowship, we have witnessed remarkable breakthroughs. By the grace of God, more than fifteen inmates willingly renounced the charms and protective items they previously relied on. Many of them openly confessed that they had fortified themselves through various traditional practices, including rituals performed by juju priests who claimed to make their bodies spiritually protected or difficult to harm. Through the ministry and prayer within the LTG groups, these individuals confessed these practices and chose to renounce them completely.
As a sign of their decision to turn away from these former practices, some of the inmates voluntarily surrendered rings and other items connected to those spiritual covenants. During the ministry sessions, genuine deliverance took place among several members of the LTG groups. Many testified that they experienced spiritual freedom as they confessed and renounced their former practices.
In the centre where I am directly in charge, the Lord has also been doing encouraging things among the disciples. During times of prayer and ministry, some disciples testified that certain pains and strange afflictions they had been experiencing disappeared after I prayed for them. These testimonies have strengthened the faith of others and encouraged the disciples to continue trusting the Lord.
The work of deliverance is still continuing this week as we minister to those who desire freedom and spiritual growth. Information from the different centres indicates that the ministry is steadily growing, with people showing greater openness to discipleship and spiritual formation.
Overall, reports from all the centres show encouraging progress and spontaneous growth as many continue committing themselves to fellowship, discipleship, and prayer.
Blessings,
Bro John.
