Notable Miracles in South Sudan

One of our DTS graduates in South Sudan, brother Henry Wakiku (pictured left), whom I have known for years and consider a faithful brother, shared with me recently this brief testimony about some notable miracles he has seen the Lord doing there. This was in the context of our discussion about the song I recently produced, called Voices of Africa Rising, regarding the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit we have seen in Africa through his ministry, and the other members of our A-Team. He said:

"Brother Len,

"I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"We are grateful to God for His mighty move in the land of South Sudan."

"I thank God for the amazing work He is doing in South Sudan. The Holy Spirit is convicting people of their sins. A certain gentleman came to me on Thursday, and just told me that he has come to give his life to Jesus Christ. I asked him what made him to feel like he should give his life to Jesus Christ, because I wanted to know if he had heard the gospel from someone preaching somewhere, but he said no. He just started thinking of scary things about hell, until he made up his mind to give his life to Jesus. I also thank God because of the people that God has healed, and delivered from evil powers this week."

In Juba, women are being healed of reproductive system issues. One woman had experienced miscarriages. "This has happened to her twice. The husband is a doctor, so he was hearing some testimonies about how God is using me. So he decided to send the wife to come and visit me at the church. I preached to the lady, and she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior. I also told her to forgive anyone she's holding in her heart, and immediately she confessed to me about it. I prayed a prayer of forgiveness. And declared that she will deliver no matter what. I told her the baby she carrying will not be the others. The baby won't disappear from the womb. By the power of God she has delivered a baby girl. This miracle shocked many but I give God the glory. "

"There's another testimony of a woman who came to me with pregnancy of 10 months without delivering. She was advised to come to me for prayers. I preached to her and she accepted Jesus Christ in her life. After that I read for her Isaiah 66:9. Then prayed and commanded the baby to come out that same week because his time is over to stay in the stomach. After prayers I told her to go and prepare for delivery. I asked her if she has the money for the hospital and she said yes. I told her the baby is going to come out at terrible speed. She will not feel much pain and it will be for a short time. She went back, and the following day they called me that she has delivered. I asked for the hospital, but they told me when the pain started, they started rushing her to the hospital but the baby just came out from home just like that. We are really serving a mighty God."

"I prayed for a child called Kulasa, and by the grace of God the baby was healed. The baby had spent over two months without breast feeding normally. Just crying and he could pass stool once in a while, according to the mother, one of the medical personnel who was working on the baby advised them to try witchcraft, because the parents had tried to seek medical attention, but nothing was happening, until the day I prayed for the baby. The following day after the prayers, the baby was totally fine." 

"God has really done amazing things in Juba through by the grace of God."

On another occasion he wrote, "There was a child I prayed with during our harvest crusade, he was having bent feet. He had never walked, but I prophesied during the prayer that within that week, he will start walking, and it happened. Though when he stood, his legs still looked the same, but he received the miracle of walking very well. And later his feet were also fixed well by the Holy Spirit." 

"Another miracle was of Israel who was on the list to be operated, because he had problem with his intestines. Even scans and everything were done. I went to the hospital and commanded everything to be fine. I immediately told the mother to go home, and assured her that God has already operated her baby and he is fine. She first tried to resist, but I took them to a small place where they were cooking tea. I bought a small tea for the child, and the child took the tea, which was not happening before. I preached to them, and afterward they went back home. After three days, I called the parents and told them to go and do another scan. When the did the scan, the child was fine up until now." 

Another amazing testimony is about a brother in Christ who was seriously injured when he was hit by a car. Brother Henry rushed to the scene of the accident, where he found the man lying unconscious on the street. But through prayer in the name of Jesus, God raised this brother up and healed him. Praise the Lord! All things are possible with God and for him who believes.  All of this is done in the all-powerful name of Jesus Christ and by faith in His name.

Do You Want to Know Him?

If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus. Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15). He preached that we must repent and believe.

Conserving the Harvest in South Sudan

As we reported previously, one of our Doulos Training School (DTS) graduates, brother Henry (pictured left), conducted an far-reaching evangelistic outreach across South Sudan, by the grace of God. Now he has transitioned to Phase II - Conserving the Harvest. The goal in this phase is to follow up on those who got saved during the evangelistic outreach initially, baptize them in water, pray for them to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire, get them into discipleship groups, teach them the basics of being a disciple, equip the saints for works of service, establish new churches, and appoint elders to shepherd those congregations.

The LTG groups are now over 30, then I have different prayer altars which have been started, and lastly I have three house churches planted though we have not constructed buildings, but they are fellowshipping. I also have other churches which will be planted in the course of Phase III.

I want to thank God for enabling me to meet Sis Rejoice S. She told me that from her youth she was a believer and serving God in a Pentecostal church with all her heart, but reaching her forty years old, she just found herself out of the church. She has gone the past 20 years without going to church again. The day she heard me preaching during our harvest crusades (this past fall), she said that she heard a voice telling her to give her life to Jesus again. She disobeyed the voice, but after we left her region, she has never had peace again. She said all this while she had been looking for me until one person from the side where the church is in Juba visited that area, then she decided to do more inquiries about how she could meet me, and God used that person to make sure we meet.

I give God all the glory because our sister received Jesus again. I will keep her in prayers so that she doesn't leave the way of righteousness again.

Dear bro Len,

I hope this email finds you well.

There's a great move of God in South Sudan, as I am doing my best to finalize with phase two, one of the members who has been attending the discipleship class, had been working with the prostitutes for a very long time. And as her life got transformed through discipleship, she confessed to me this, and told me that they had a prophet who still exists. This prophet was anointing them with false anointing oil according to me inorder to get customers( men to sleep with them), and whenever they could get the money, then an offering was given to the fake prophet in order to get more customers. When she gave her life to Jesus during our missions, the woman who was acting as their boss in that business is looking for her seriously. She said, that friends told her if the information reaches their prophet, then I will have problem because I am the one who has confused her. But I thank God, because right now more two from the same group have already given their lives to Jesus.

Dear bro Len,

I hope this email finds you well.

I thank God for the great work He is doing in South Sudan. Phase two is going on well, and I also see serious growth among those attending my discipleship teachings. Many have now dedicated themselves fully to Jesus. I have been also invited to conduct burials, dedication of children, bless families, home deliverances, home prayers by those who are attending the discipleship teachings and their close relatives. I thank God others have evangelized to their family members, and led them to repentance and salvation. God has made me too much engaged with phase two, and I am praying to God so that within this month I finish, and move out to another phase.

We have a brother by the names Felix, who gave his life to Jesus, and for all this time he was committed attending the teaching. He decided to leave his gang and committed his entire life to Jesus, but I didn't know that he had been previously involved in one of the most dangerous gangs before he gave his life to Jesus. He was a leader of one of the groups of  the [gang name omitted for security] in South Sudan. This group is a dangerous group, which attacks people with pangas. They can attack you and take everything from you, and also cut you with pangas, and sometimes they leave you dead and sometimes badly injured. They have different groups of [gang name omitted for security], and sometimes when they have misunderstanding, they also attack themselves. I know of many people who are victims of these attacks. Felix was one of the leaders of one of the gangs, so when he add me preaching about repentance and end times, then he decided to give his life to Jesus, and made a decision to follow Him. From the time he gave his life to Jesus, he didn't want to leave me. I could see him keeping around. One day he went to pick his money from somewhere, this is the money they have been getting in a wrong way I suspected. He had saved it on his bank account, so when he went, the bank told him they don't have money, and only gave him $150 USD. When he was coming from the bank, one of his gang members approached him and asked him why he is not seen in the gang meetings, so he explained to him how he had given his life to Jesus, and he has nothing to do with the gang anymore. His friend immediately informed other gang members to come, and serious attack was done on him. But we thank God he was only cut on the finger with a panga, and afterward they disappeared with him in custody.

 For three days I was not seeing him in the class, and all his phones were off, then later we got information through the same gang, that they are the ones with him. I entered into prayers and fasting, and they kept calling me. I could preach to them on phone and remind them that they were created by God, and no one can fight God's will. I could also teach them about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that they should prepare to meet Him.

I decided to go there. I went with other people, met them somewhere in the bush. I went with my ID for the church and the bible. They came, and I requested them that we should pray first. I saw the hand of God. It's a very long story, but he was released. The person, who was his deputy in the gang, requested that I should go back there, and pay their fee (protection money), so that they can remove Felix's name from their list. If I don't do that [they say], then they will continue attacking him.

However I thank God the LTG meetings are going on. Discipleship classes are going on. I have a sister by the name Angel, who was a total drug and alcoholic addict, but gave her life to Jesus during our missions. She was baptized by the Holy Spirit and fire after attending my teachings and praying for her by laying on of hands. She's now a serious intercessor. Every time I see her, she is praying for the nation and people, crying while asking God to intervene, so that people can know Jesus in South Sudan.

I also have a youth, by the name Scovia who also gave her life to Jesus. She attended the teachings and decided to follow Jesus. The devil entered  her relatives, and they started fighting her salvation to the extreme; they beat her severely, and sent her to an abandoned room to sleep there. She was only able to come after her body was all full of bruises from mosquito bites and other insects. She said it would be better to die, but she will never leave Jesus. 

On Thursday, I received a phone call from her mother crying tears, that the father and the uncle who have been paying her daughter Scovia's school fees have stopped the support unless she leaves salvation, but the daughter said that even if she is to lose education, she can't leave Jesus. She asked me what did I do to the daughter, because she was not like that before. I also preached to her, and requested her to come and meet me. I preached to her and led her to Jesus as well. I told her that God will use her or some other way so that her daughter may study, if that's His will, but to let her serve God. I taught her about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I just give God all the glory for the amazing things He is doing in South Sudan.

I hope this email finds you well.

We ended our teenagers' conference successfully, and all the glory goes back to God almighty. Many children joined the conference, and on the last day of the conference, it was quite a big number. 

On the last day, I prepared Bible questions that were to be asked on that day to assess the teens on what they had learned during the five days, but I requested that they come with their parents. People started coming before the time we had planned. The church was not enough to accommodate the big numbers, therefore we hired two tents, each with a capacity to seat100 people, and they were both full of parents. I thank God for the day, because I saw patents also receiving salvation after sharing with them some of the testimonies of end times. We have 20 parents who gave their lives to Jesus and started attending the discipleship class immediately. I give all the glory to God.

I thank God, the teenagers' conference which is to take five days, has started today, and I thank God it was powerful. Over 60 teenagers turned up, I believe tomorrow the number will be more than that.

Dear bro Henry,

A lot is still needed to complete my Phase II follow up ministry, but I have covered over 70% as of now. I have doubled my efforts to make sure I conclude by January, by the grace of God.

I am now concentrating on LTG and discipleship, covering and demonstrating of the cost of discipleship. 

One incident that I didn't share with you yet is a story of a gentleman, who received salvation during our crusades and he has been attending my teachings. He had the equipment for shisha at his home, it is used to smoke a drug which is stronger than cigarette [sometimes cannabis, hashish and opium], which makes some people even run mad. He and his wife used to smoke with it, but because of the teaching about how a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ should live and end time gospel, he went home and disposed of everything without the notice of the wife. The issue was taken to the police, and a case was opened against me by the wife, claiming I am the one who caused that. I was given a letter of summons by the police. I went to the police with some of the members including bro Benson. When we reached there, before they even heard from me, I was put in prison. When they were putting me inside, I saw my brothers including bro Benson crying, shedding tears seriously as they were saying, "Bro it's well," but I knew that is the cost of discipleship that they have not experienced yet. The woman had charged me with a big bill, requiring that I should buy for her what the husband had disposed of. I was not much bothered, because I knew God has a reason why He allowed that to happen. When I was inside, I met someone who was injecting herself with a drug in the chest. We were separated by just a strong wire mesh, but I could look at the women's section from our side. I went closer and preached to her. She told me she was tired of life and wanted to die. She had cancer, and narrated to me her story, which was horrible; and ultimately she gave her life to Jesus. I prayed with her, and immediately afterward, they called for me out to meet a Criminal Investigation Division (CID) officer. The issue was sorted out, and I didn't even pay for the charges. That's how it ended. That's why I still want to take time covering discipleship teachings. I am also closely watching those who are under the training of elders.

Dear bro Len,

I hope this email finds you well.

It's unfortunate that one of our members in the church has lost a child of around 5 years old. From the time of the recent insecurity, the severe shooting which resulted into a fire outbreak, she ran to the bush fearing they may attack her from the house. The girl went with other children in the area, who were not all from the same family. This happened without the notice of the mother. When they came back after three days, the child became terribly sick. They were treating her, but the baby's condition was getting worse. I arrived on Saturday, and visited the family for prayers, but unfortunately on Sunday, the child passed away at midnight.

I conducted the burial today and tonight we shall have a prayer session in the same home, I believe God many will surrender their lives to Jesus.

At the time of burial, I taught about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. One woman by the name of Stella, came and confessed Jesus. She requested that I should go and teach in the area where the church she is fellowshipping in is located. She said they're not teaching anything to do with the coming of Jesus Christ, but are only teaching prosperity.

When we were coming back from the field, that same day we reached a certain center and evangelized there. One woman welcomed us and said there's no Pentecostal church in the area. She was desperately requesting that we establish one there. I told her to put it in prayers, as nothing is impossible with God; let God make her the door for the gospel to come to that town.

Dear bro Len,

I thank God for journey mercies. I traveled with one other minister to check on the disciples of a new believer named Ivan, in order to know how phase II is progressing, and also to take the Bibles. I also carried with me LTG cards to guide them in formation of LTG groups in order to multiply disciples. 

However I found that the new converts had already scattered and others went back to their former lifestyle. For easier mobilization, I had to conduct an open-air meeting in the evening with teaching from 02:00pm to 4:30, and then we conclude with an open air in the evening for three days. I thank God by the time I was leaving, I managed to get and minister to those who had given their lives to Jesus before in our previous harvest crusade. [I believe most of the people who got saved during the original outreach were brought back into the fold during this second visit, but not all]. However, others received salvation in the course of my stay there. I am praying to God to give me grace to continue checking on them. 

I reached Juba today Saturday and I thank God who brought me back safely. Let's remember bro Felix and Deng in prayers, who really surrendered their lives to follow Jesus Christ for the few days I was there, and I believe God they will forever be for Jesus.

Dear bro Len,

I hope this email finds you well.

I want to give God all the glory, six victims of the fire outbreak that happened a few days in South Sudan have totally surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. They have experienced so much tragedy. One of them survived death because God didn't want her to die without accepting Jesus Christ. She went to rescue her property from the fire and in the process, again she was attacked by evil people who came and removed the stuff she had already removed from her shop, they also cut her leg with a panga (machete) and escaped with her phone, but the Lord saved her life.  I see the hand of God touching them one by one.

This Sunday, three more LTG groups were formed, and I gave them LTG guideline papers that I printed out to know more about LTG.

Beginning on December 19th, I will be teaching the intermediate children for 3 days, those who are not yet youths. I have seen much zeal and love for God in these children, the Lord has put a burden in my heart to share with them about the love of Jesus for the children and how they can walk in holiness while emphasizing the end time message of Jesus coming back for the church now.

Dear bro Len,

I believe you are doing well by the grace of God.

I resumed my phase 11 by the grace of God. Today I felt a move of God sharing with the Sunday school children at mid hours. I spent good time teaching them the love of God towards them and how they can grow in the knowledge of God. Many of them were very happy and asking a number of interesting questions, I realized they equally need much of our time. 

I also did a follow up with the LTG groups that were already existence to see if there's steady progress and whether they're still keeping the LTG guidelines, I thank God I received positive feedback from most of them except a few that I encouraged through the word and also handed over to them the LTG cards for guidance.

There was serious shooting in Juba yesterday. In the process, it has caused much insecurity resulting in setting one of the most busy business centers in South Sudan on fire. 

I met two people on the road in the morning crying bitterly about what happened, they had lost everything. I preached to them, prayed with them and moved with them to the site. When we reached there, I had nothing to say in my heart, except preaching to them to accept the most precious person in their lives, Jesus Christ. I was teaching and people were coming to where we were, and the number kept increasing. There's a lady called Ester, who surrendered her life to Jesus. Rose also surrendered her life ,and was ready to follow Jesus, because she said everything is vanity. People are like running mad with what happened, but I have been praying to God to give them peace and open their hearts to welcome Jesus into their lives.

Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank God for what He is doing, our LTG numbers are increasing weekly, I have managed to notice much zeal for evangelism among those who are attending their LTG meetings weekly. I thank God for sister Nancy who had just given her life to Jesus, she came with her husband to the church and when I was teaching, she lifted up her hand, I thought she wanted to give her life to Jesus but she said no, she she wanted to confess. I gave her chance, she stood up and said her iPad that she came with, was bought for her by man who wants to confuse her marriage, she said she had been committing adultery with him but now she can't miss heaven because of him, she vowed to end the relationship immediately after repenting. I see people working out their salvation with fear and trembling, I was scared that it was cause to cause a fight because the man too was present, but instead the husband was happy, he said he knew about his wife's relationship with that man but she could not listen, he thanked God that his wife is now saved and changed.

Dear bro Len, 

I have a lot of updates about Phase II. I thank God we have registered a lot of achievements. I have discipleship classes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Thursdays and Wednesdays, I have counseling, and we also have prayers on Tuesday.

Our numbers increased greatly in the church, from around 50 people to 70; and Sunday school has increased to 100. We now have 16 LTG groups [Life Transformation Groups for discipleship] in Juba, three in western equatorial (Yambio) and some in Bor. I don't currently know the exact number in Bor, because of [unreliable mobile] network, bro Ivan there has been unreachable for some days. [Bro Ivan is the newly saved fisherman in a remote town, who has already led 20 people to Christ.]

Most of the LTG groups are meeting on Saturdays. I think the day favors them. And at the church property, we have few who are meeting on Fridays.

We have registered a number of 19 people, who are going to be baptized, but we haven't yet fixed the exact day of baptism, because the names on the list are still increasing.

I have seen transformation in people's lives. For example, some ladies who were using artificial nails have started removing them. People are understanding that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Youths have trimmed their hair in a way that glorifies the Lord. Because of these teachings, people are correcting each other in love, in case of any mistake.

I also thank God for the elders I am training by the grace of God. They're  committed to learn. I taught them how LTG works, and they are enjoying it by the grace of God.

Dear bro Len,

This phase two plan is very important because these people who received salvation don't yet know what salvation is. I have seen a lot happening in this phase two. 

There's a mama who received Jesus. Here's how it happened. A few days I was teaching about the way a disciple of Jesus must live. I also talked about forgiveness, I told them that however much man [has  hurt us], God has put a condition to love that person and also forgive him, so that you can also be forgiven. You must love even your enemies. As I was teaching, the woman was crying so loud I didn't know why. I even got concerned, but the Holy Spirit convicted me to continue with the teaching. The following day, the lady came and confessed to me that she doesn't know what she can give me. I told her, "My sister, salvation is free. Jesus paid everything. She said she doesn't have any money, but she has come to thank me. I told to thank God and give Him all the glory. 

She had hated the father of her children for years, such that they never talk, even if the man tries, there is no way. But after that teaching, she called him and talked to him. When she did, the man asked if she's really the one or not, is there something wrong or what. She said she is the one, the difference is that she gave her life to Jesus. The man called me and told me he wants to meet me, he also wants to give his life to Jesus, he is willing to come to me on Wednesday. 

So this phase two is very important, though mobilization to all those who received salvation is the only challenging thing. But the Lord is enabling us to do it, in order for them to be equipped and trained to be disciples, so that the next time you do an outreach for the second harvest, you go out in bigger numbers than you went before.

Within this short time, by the grace of God, we have formed now 13 LTG groups, which are still increasing. Yesterday I went and printed out more LTG cards for guidance, and am happy God is doing a great work through us.

Dear bro Len,

I hope this email finds you well.

I was praying for a certain woman by the name Agnes, she was brought to me by the family members for prayers that she has been sick for over two months, they have tried everything but the condition is becoming worse. I spoke to the lady, preached to her, and she accepted Jesus Christ, including her three sisters.

The Spirit of God led me to pray a deliverance prayer. When I was praying, the evil spirit was screaming seriously through her, demanding to know why I am casting them out, since this is their temple, she belongs to them, as I rebuked the demons. They said in their voice, "We have marked her." What's interesting is that after the deliverance prayers, I asked the lady if she had any sort of mark on her body. She said, "Yes," and when we looked behind her back around the shoulders, there's a big figure eight like blood. I rebuked it, and declared that by today it will not be there. 

We give all the glory to God for her deliverance, repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank God for the work He is doing through us, I have printed out the LTG cards for guidance and the Spirit of God is leading people to invite their LTG partners and things are moving well by the grace of God.

I ask for your prayers for one of our brothers by the name Ivan who is in Bor, a place which is along the White Nile River. He is one of those who received water baptism, and also I prayed for him and he was filled with the Holy Spirit. Currently he is moving with the gospel that side, and he told me their challenge is getting Bibles. He is visiting different fishing grounds with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am planning to go there and strengthen them with one of the elders. I plan to stay there for a short period of just a week and get back to Juba, leaving the elder there for a while. I ask for your prayers if that's the will of God.

I last talked to him yesterday, he requested for prayers, as he was moving to a remote place by the same river. His name is bro Ivan, let's remember him in our prayers.

South Sudan End Time Evangelistic Outreach

One of our Doulos Training School (DTS) graduates, brother Henry Wakiku (pictured left), is traveling across South Sudan with a team of 24 people, preaching the gospel with an end time message.

Dear bro Len,

Hope this email finds you well.

It was amazing [today]. We had a wonderful time at our ladies secondary school, sharing the Word of God (end time message). Many of the students repented and gave their lives to Jesus Christ, and we also prayed for the candidates. Five ladies and one gentleman were delivered from Marine spirits. Dear bro Len,

I hope you are doing well on that side.

I want to thank God for the great move of the Holy Spirit in our outreach this week. On Friday, October 10th, one lady was delivered from Marine spirits. She was saying she is the queen of the sea, and she fought much during deliverance, but at last I had a revelation about the necklace she was wearing. I removed it from her neck, and the battle increased greatly, but she was delivered totally, and surrendered her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. 

She confessed how she has been initiating people. She said when you are initiated, you are given another name from the sea apart from the normal names you have. She gave us names like Queen Anabel, Queen of the Sea, and others.

We were supposed to set off back (to Juba) on Saturday evening, but unfortunately our transportation vehicles didn't come to pick us up, and there were no means we could use from this side. And if we had managed to get transportation, it would have been very expensive. So we decided to continue with the gospel. We visited homes, and I saw many people yearning for the gospel and giving their lives to Jesus. 

On Saturday night, October 11th, I got a dream that my home in Uganda was sinking, and everything was being destroyed, including the latrine, plus lives lost. I told this to my team to enter into prayers seriously, and I also called my mum in Uganda, and told her to enter into prayers, because God revealed to me an attack.

On Sunday, October 12th, she was also in prayers and fasting with us. At around 9:00am, my daughter got attacked with severe coldness on the same Sunday we had started the fasting. She was rushed to hospital, and she was put on an IV drip. I called and prayed with her on the phone. They discharged her at around 2:00pm the same day. Then at 3:00 PM, a strong lightning struck the house, and the lights were all broken from the inside of the home to outside. One side of house got a crack, because it went deep into the ground and caused a trench. The tree next to the house was split into two and dried immediately. The house inside was all full of fire. What is amazing is that my mum and children, plus others, were inside the house, but none of them were affected. They are all alive, except that my mum felt a small pain in her left leg. 

I am still in prayers, and God is doing amazing things in my missions. I thank God, because the devil won't manage to weaken us in any way. I count it a great gain when I see people giving their lives to Jesus! 

There's one old man who gave his life to Jesus, insisting that he doesn't want to drink alcohol again, and also insisting we should reach his home. When we reached there, it was amazing. The whole family came together and some neighbors to witness the gospel. There was a big number of people in his home, others were under a shelter, and we even had others behind the house. As a result, Jesus won souls there that day. Today, if our vehicles don't come to pick us up, we are planning to reach one secondary school with the end time message, by the grace of God.

Attached are photos (see album) of when we went to that gentleman's home, and the photos of my sick daughter, who is now better, and the attack of the lightning. Let's remain cheerful in our faith in Jesus' name. More testimonies coming, as the Holy Spirit is our helper.

Dear bro Len, 

You are right [about the need to follow up with the people who've gotten saved through our outreach, disciple them, and plant churches], but I see this as a confirmation to what I have been praying about during my missions.

Many souls have come to Christ that are calling me always, but the distance is big. I have established already a church in western equatorial state, Yambio, and I appointed one elder there by the name Ssenyonjo, though they need much support in everything. 

There is a great need I see in establishing churches. I  have also established a church in Juba, which still has land issues, but programs are running there, and it's getting full due to the new harvest. I oversee it directly.

There is a team I have put in place (called "Rescue Team"), still under teaching and training, whose work is to follow up with our new converts on call and contact.

Am also raising five elders by the grace of God.

Surely the work is huge, a lot has to be done to save God's people from the burning fire of hell.

Through the outreaches, numbers of those accepting Jesus are increasing every day, and many are getting delivered by the grace of God. The list of the people waiting for the next baptism service is already increasing. Some people, if we see an urgent need to baptize them immediately, I move to the river and baptize them straight away. I am moving with my team in different places, door to door and in the late afternoon we go for the open air meeting, God is doing amazing things in the people's lives.

I give all the glory to God.

Today's open air meeting was fruitful, as we had a number of people give their lives to Jesus. There's also one soldier with the rank of captain, who had some charms in his body. When he heard the gospel of end times, he went, cut his body, and removed the charms from his hand. He confessed that it was given to him for protection when he is in battle at the front line. He then requested me to pray for him, so that only God becomes his Protector. I give all the glory to God.

I also conducted another baptism today morning before the open air meeting. The open air meeting will continue through Friday, and on Saturday I have a conference targeting leaders to teach about the end time message. Already the information about the conference is moving, and different leaders are calling me to inform me about their plans to attend. 

I know of some churches following a wrong doctrine. One gentleman came to me after the prayer and told me that in their church the pastor is selling an anointed card at $100 USD, so that people's lives may supposedly change, which I don't agree with. People are perishing in South Sudan, because they have not been correctly taught the truth. But I want to give God glory for my completion of my course with DTS, as my eyes are now open, and God is using me to open many people's eyes to the truth.

I do deliverance after their accepting Jesus Christ, confession and repentance. I do deliverance, and many of them get delivered from these evil spirits.

Glory be to God. They are now four who have given their lives to Jesus from a [prophetic cult] ministry.

One came out from there when she was pregnant, and on Thursday of this week, they brought her to me when she was bleeding. When I talked to her, I discovered she has never given birth to a child completely, but she has had five different miscarriages, and it always happens like that. I immediately commanded the bleeding to stop and the baby to remain in the womb until 9 months are over. In five minutes the bleeding had stopped. Yesterday she was in the church jumping and praising the Lord without any problem. I give glory to God.

There's also a family, whom we had planned to reach with the end time gospel since the week started. Yesterday we went there without information, and we found there was a military General in the same compound. I thank God I was given an opportunity to share the end time message, and I saw people raising their hands to invite Jesus Christ into their lives, including the General.

Dear bro Len,

Prayers needed, [today] as we were for our outreach, we were attacked by a group of youths, who assaulted one of our brothers. They were beating him on the head with heavy logs, and afterward left with him to a place we don't yet know until now. We later discovered that the person behind this attack is one of his family members, who is a leader in a cult prophetic ministry. They're against the gospel of the truth. They first influenced his boss and [got him] sacked from work, but his zeal for the gospel just grew. I am always with him in my missions, until yesterday when this happened. He is by the name William, a South Sudanese.

I have reported the issue to the security organs, and investigations are on going, as we put his life in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Continue to put us in prayers, because the gospel has to be preached, the Lord instructed me to prepare the way for his coming; and the link you shared with me Prepare the Way has really touched me so much, it was a great confirmation to what the Lord told me.

Dear bro Len,

I give God the glory, and I strongly thank God for DTS. I am going preaching to all places, hospitals, markets, prisons, streets, and many other places, as the Holy Spirit leads us. I have seen many giving their lives to Jesus and continuing to surrender to the Saviour, but there's another thing [that's] amazing. Those who hear me preaching in South Sudan and are already believers, born again, [as well as] others who are even servants of God, they wonder where I get this boldness to preach in such a country like this, speaking the truth without fear. 

There are so many false churches selling water, oil and teaching what people want to hear, but I thank God for the grace to teach the gospel of holiness, repentance and end time. I have many servants of God who have come to me, they want to know the secret, I tell them I was trained from DTS, and in the course of my study, I was filled with the Holy Spirit, [thus] I don't fear to preach the truth,

Dear bro Len, 

The work is still going on and the numbers to be baptized are increasing, we had no bigger means of transport to take all the people, I decided that I will do it in shifts until we finish up, however evangelism is still on going. 

Attached are some of the pics for baptism, also one for one gentleman whose eye had problem but after baptism, I prayed for him to be filled by the Holy Spirit and immediately the eye opened (see photo album).

Dear bro Len,

I give God the glory, today during our door-to-door evangelism within South Sudan, one gentleman by the name William, a soldier under military intelligence in South Sudan, has given his life to Jesus and his mother and brothers have all followed him. I also visited the hospital, and the sick people gave their lives to Jesus.

By the grace of God I managed to reach the site where the baptism will take place. Attached is the photo when I visited the site.

Dear brother Len,

Hope this email finds you well.

We glorify the Lord, this day Friday we shall be heading back. 

The outreach was so fruitful, we shall be doing evaluation this Saturday with my team about the harvest crusade, on Thursday one of our speakers got burnt but we thank God, it didn't stop the massive crusade from taking place.

The recorded (decisions for Christ) were 150, but we have other names, which were not recorded. I estimate the number to be 230 in total.

Dear bro Len,

More updates about the ongoing harvest crusade in South Sudan, many souls crossing from darkness to the light, today we have celebrated through serious praise after leading a good number of people to salvation by the grace of God. Healing and deliverance still taking place.

One of the ladies who gave her life to Jesus, she came and told me she got a dream when the whole world was in darkness and there's no way of seeing the way, she said she saw a place and in that place she could only see a nail in the foot of someone, at looking at that she was able to find direction.

I saw the hand of God in today's crusade. A few people came and said we should not continue (with the crusade0, but God intervened, and the crusade went well with massive deliverance, people receiving Jesus and repentance.

Note from blog author: Brother Henry wrote me (Len) the following message regarding Isaac, one of our DTS students who has been attending the crusade meetings that he is conducting there: "When I saw him (brother Isaac), the Lord guided me to send him with other two people to do door-to-door (evangelism) in an area I know, and (for them to) go back like that...I prayed for him to be filled by the Holy Spirit. To preach the gospel in South Sudan, you must completely accept to lose your life for Christ to the cost of death.

It was amazing, I saw people accepting Jesus as their Lord and savior, people getting delivered from demonic forces. One gentleman was under serious deliverance when I was praying for him, and at once shouted after receiving his deliverance that he saw a very strong light that shone towards him from above; and after that it took a long time for him to normalize. Glory be to God! It was a strong visitation of the Holy Spirit. The numbers increased greatly compared to yesterday. Attached are some photos.

Note from blog author: One of our DTS students in South Sudan wrote to me the following comment after reading about this harvest crusade: "This is great. I managed to reach to brother Henry's harvest crusade, but it was very far and was much expensive to reach there. I really saw people giving their lives to Jesus and desperate to repent their sins after his preaching. I pray let God give me the zeal he has given to him because I see him reaching places no missionary can reach for the gospel without fear. Bro Isaac."

Forty one people gave their lives to Jesus, many delivered, one woman came with a walking stick but the Holy Spirit touched her and she was jumping praising the Lord. We are now for hospital ministry.

Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It was a great day. We started off with clearing the venue of our harvest crusade end time message. And also, by the grace of God, I reached out to the hospital with my team, and I saw people in terrible conditions accepting Jesus Christ. 

I came across a man who was stabbed in a neck with a knife and it's still not removed. He was in much pain but I thank God I prayed for him, and he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He immediately showed that he is ready to meet Jesus, and many others who accepted Jesus. See photos in album above.

Dear bro Len,

From the time I arrived [back] in South Sudan, I have been moving up and down getting some staff I needed for my campaign, which will start this Saturday [September 13]. I will keep you updated for prayers. I will be moving with my team [daily] from 8:00am to 1:00pm, [at which time] we shall be visiting the hospitals and prison in different places to preach there, and from 2:00pm [onward] we shall be staging an open crusade, where I will be teaching about the end times with the message of rapture. Serious mobilization is already going on, and people are already desperately waiting for us in their regions. What has delayed us was the security clearance process, but it's now done.

I got the projector, and I also got a small, [personal] PA system. However yesterday evening, I also got information of receiving a bigger public address system at no cost, which I [had previously planned] to hire at 30 USD per day. The gentleman said that after my preaching to him about the end time gospel, [the free PA system] will be His contribution for the gospel. I give God the glory. I plan to use it only in specific locations to avoid huge transport and fuel cost, and then in other places we will be moving with the [smaller personal size] one I acquired.

Do You Want to Know Him?

If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Angel Helps Man to Board Airplane Without Ticket

Brother Henry, who is one of our graduates in South Sudan, as well as our National Facilitator there, shared the following testimony with Len in January:

"In 2021, I was invited to preach in a state called Yambio, which is in the western equatorial part of South Sudan. It's a bit far from Juba, so the team that wanted me to go there sent the money for booking the flight to their friend in Juba to book it for me. He communicated the dates and time, but yet he used the money, and didn't book at all. The time came, I went to the airport, and the following day the conference and crusade was arranged. When I reached there ready to travel, my name was not in the list of those traveling. I was confused. I wanted to leave immediately, but in my spirit I said, 'No, let me wait.' 

People started boarding, and after they had all entered the plane, a man came and greeted me. He asked if I was pastor Henry. I said, 'Yes.' I asked for his name, and he told me he is called Paul. I asked if he was working with South Supreme company, and he said, 'Yes.' Then he held my hand and made me to enter. I had not received even the boarding pass, my name is not on the list, and I didn't pay any money. 
We reached our destination, and they started collecting the boarding pass, but I didn't have one. They questioned me how I entered. I told them one person called Paul allowed me in. They checked, tried to call the head office, but they didn't have any worker by the name of Paul. They decided to let me go because I was going for the work of God. 

When I was reading about how angels manifest to us, I immediately remembered this [experience], and I believe that must have been an angel of God that came to my rescue, because everybody was calling me, [asking], 'Are you coming [to the crusade]?', I really give God the glory."

END OF TESTIMONY

Praise the Lord for sending His angel to help brother Henry board a plane without a ticket and fly to his destination to preach the gospel in South Sudan. That was truly a miracle. 

It reminds me of the angel named Paul that helped our student Catherine in England when she was lost as a youth.  You can read about that here. I sent the link to Catherine's testimony to brother Henry and asked him if Paul looked like the artists depiction of Paul shown in that article. He replied that Paul did look like that, except he had darker skin and African hair on his head. 

I personally believe it was the same Paul appearing in different forms, and most likely Paul the apostle sent on a mission to help brother Henry get to his destination to preach the gospel. As the Scripture says, "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" (Heb 1:14).
